Farm Practices Guidelines for Beef Producers in ManitobaInformation is provided on provincial and municipal regulations dealing with livestock production operations; practices and systems related to the storage, handling and disposal of livestock wastes (manure and mortalities) including odour control; guidelines on separation distances between facilities and manure disposal fields and property lines, residences and residential/recreational areas and, waterways; and soil monitoring procedures.

The intent of this booklet is to assist producers design, locate, establish and manage livestock operations; governments effectively evaluate development proposals and management practices; and provide the Farm Practice Protection Board with standards for defining acceptable livestock management practices.
