Description: Kit includes a mould of a human brain and instructions for making a gelatin replica of a human brain showing its consistency and form. Participants can touch the brain to get a sense of how delicate the brain is and why it must be protected.

Great Grain Harvest Educational Packet with Tug of War with Grain Demonstration
Description: Includes four 30 mins. experiments and activities for middle and high school students that focus on the mathematics and physics of grain entrapment and suffocation. Instructions for the TUG OF WAR WITH GRAIN demonstration are included. This demonstration requires a large garbage container, a board the diameter of the container with rope attached and enough grain to fill the container.

Blind Spot of Livestock Vision
Description: A yellow sponge ball with eyes for young children to use to play catch. Children start standing straight across from each other after a catch, one child moves a few steps to the side still looking forward. Eventually after many catches and moving sideways the child will no longer be able to catch the ball as he/she can no longer see the ball. This demonstrates the concept of a blind spot.

Description: Simulation of a 911 phone call with detailed instructions for the operator to guide the participant in understanding what would occur if they were to make an actual 911 call in an emergency situation.

Hearing Test Booth and Hearing Protective Devices
Description: Sound booth used for conducting hearing test and samples of various hearing protective equipment. Display must be shipped by truck.
Only available by contacting the Provincial Farm Safety Coordinator and requires an audiometric technician.
Description: An actual PTO shaft and motor operates within an enclosed display case to show the hazard of PTO entanglement using a cloth representing clothing. Electrical outlet required for operation. Display is in a durable metal case 5 ft X 3 ft weighing 105 lbs. Display must be picked up not shipped.

Description: Kit includes a powder and liquid simulated germs as well as a fluorescent (UV) light. This resource demonstrates the presence of germs and shows effective hand washing and food handling techniques.
