Farm Safety Training Courses

Farm ATV operation
A one day, ½ classroom – ½ practical session on operating ATV’s while performing work such as towing, hauling and range operation. 12 participants.

Tractor Operator
A one day, ½ classroom – ½ practical session on the basics of tractor operation. This course is based on a certificate training program required in the United States for all new tractor operator employees. 20 participants.

Horse Handling
A one day, ½ classroom – ½ practical session that focuses on working from a horse. 20 participants.

Low Stress Cattle Handling
A ½ day session with both classroom and in field work. This session provides the fundamentals of animal behaviour and the practical application of using those behaviours to work the cattle in a safe manner. 12 participants.

First on the Scene for Farm Families
Based on the FARMEDIC program delivered throughout the United States, this program takes participants through the fundamentals of being the first person arriving at the scene of a farm incident. 25 participants.
