Staff at the Food Commercialization & Marketing Knowledge Centre work with the agri-food industry to support the commercialization and marketing of value-added food products. They participate in provincial industry-driven events and activities to help increase the opportunities for commercialization of Manitoba-grown products.
They are a resource to the Business Development Specialist in the GO Teams and other Knowledge Centres to provide a link between researchers, funding organizations and business opportunities. They can supply you with resource materials, help you work with regulatory agencies, and provide information on effective food commercialization and marketing strategies such as selling directly from their farm business, establishment of value-chains and access to the functional food market.
