  • Manitoba Meat Buyer's Guide

When you’re shopping for your family, ask for the goodness of Manitoba-raised beef, bison, elk, chicken, turkey, pork, lamb or goat. Restaurants, retailers and producers offer great Manitoba-raised meat and meat products. The Manitoba Meat Buyer's Guide is updated regularly as businesses identify their ability and commitment to providing Manitoba meat.

  • Farm Safety

    • Creating Safe Play Areas on Farms. Manitoba Healthy Living, Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives and Manitoba Labour and Immigration are working together on the Safe Play Area grant program. A Safe Play Area physically limits children's exposure to hazards on the farm. Under adult supervision children can safely experience the stimulation that play provides for growth within a safer environment.

  • Canada–Manitoba Environmental Farm Plan Program. The Environmental Farm Plan Program is designed to encourage Manitoba agricultural producers to evaluate their operations, to develop environmental action plans and to adopt beneficial management practices (BMPs) that will contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment and that will enhance agricultural sustainability.
