Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives maintains a number of programs and policies to assist agriculture producers.
There are MAFRI offices located throughout Manitoba. These offices are staffed with professional agrologists and support staff who are able to assist producers with specific sheep production and management information. The provincial Animal Industry Branch is located in Winnipeg and the Soils and Crops Branch at Carman, where central specialists provide support and technical assistance to producers and other district Extension staff.
