The site focuses on production and economics, financial assistance and funding programs, risk management, community and business development and food and consumer news and information.

The website is further supported by 43 Growing Opportunities offices and Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation offices where friendly professionals and experts are available to provide personal advice and information.

Agriculture not only remains one of the cornerstones of Manitoba’s past; it presently contributes to the province’s economic prosperity. As one of the province’s top 10 industries, agriculture accounts for one in every 10 jobs, along with providing significant economic spin-offs that benefit all Manitobans.

From assuring the quality of the locally-grown foods Manitobans consume to ensuring the sustainability of the rural communities so many Manitobans call home, Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives is committed to rural interests and priorities.
