Results from the 2008 Manitoba Corn Hybrid Performance Trials

The results from the 2008 Manitoba Corn Hybrid Performance Trials are now available! Trial locations for 2008 were Carman, MacGregor, Reinland and St.Pierre for grain corn hybrid evaluations and Elm Creek and St.Pierre for silage corn hybrid evaluations.

The performance trials are coordinated by the Manitoba Corn Committee (MCC). The MCC is a group of individuals from the Manitoba Corn Growers Association (MCGA), Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA), Manitoba Agriculture, Food & Rural Initiatives (MAFRI), and Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation (MASC). The committee conducts trials of corn hybrids with the goal to provide information to Manitoba producers about the performance of corn hybrids across corn growing regions of Manitoba.
