PURPOSE OF PROGRAM/SERVICE

To encourage economic and efficient production and marketing of commercially grown, high quality irrigated and dryland potatoes.

Assist existing and new commercial growers with potato production information via fact sheets, meetings, field tours, www.mbpotatonews.ca, demonstration trials, and potato extension events.

WHO QUALIFIES

Potato producers, agronomists and anyone interested in potato commercial production.

Growers can access information on pest thresholds, current pest levels, advice on control procedures and recommendations on crop inputs including fertilizer, irrigation and pesticides.
