Look again - your woods are full of potential

The Manitoba Agro Woodlot Program is funded through the Agricultural Policy Framework, a federal-provincial initiative.

Program Overview

The Manitoba Agro Woodlot Program was created 13 years ago to help landowners enhance wildlife habitat by managing their woodlots and planting trees. The Program helped producers to integrate agro forestry practices, including woodlot management, into their farming operations. Agro forestry is the art of using the right tree, in the right place, for the right purpose to increase farm efficiency and profitability. >>more

Wealth in Woodlots: a Landowner's Opportunity

Take a Look at Your Wooded Lands

It’s likely you think of the woodlot on your property as a special place – a part of your land not your living. Maybe you view it as farmland for future years. Maybe you view it as a special place your family has enjoyed for generations. Or maybe you just enjoy the view.
