Travel Protection Consultation Paper

Improving Consumer Protection in the Travel IndustryThe Manitoba government is working with the travel industry to introduce potential new measures that will:

  • provide financial compensation to consumers if their travel agency or travel provider goes out of business
  • ensure honesty and accuracy in travel advertisements
  • regulate travel agencies

A public consultation paper has been developed that outlines these
