Sectional Maps (of Western Canada)

Title: Canada, Department of the Interior, Section Maps [of Western Canada]

    Dates: ca. 1900-1950
    Content: A map series produced by the Department of the Interior between the last half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. Produced at both the three miles to one-inch scale and six mile to one-inch scale, these maps were popular for their depiction of cultural and physical features across Western Canada. Archives of Manitoba has fairly complete coverage for Manitoba.
