Accessing Government Records in the Archives

This site contains information about the records of the government of Manitoba, municipalities and school divisions which are in the Archives of Manitoba. The Government Records Office makes the records in its custody available and accessible to clients locally, nationally and internationally. Whether you are tracing your family tree, working on a paper, looking for a map or photograph or doing in-depth historical research, we'll do our best to help you find what you need.

Government records are described in the Keystone Archives Descriptive Database and in paper-based finding aids in the Archives Research Room.
