This site contains important information and help for government departments and employees responsible for creating and managing records. It also provides information about our services to government as well as to municipalities and school divisions in Manitoba. About Us
Under The Archives and Recordkeeping Act, the Archives of Manitoba provides records management and archival programs and services to the government of Manitoba, the Courts and the Legislature. It also provides records management advice and archival services to municipalities and local public authorities. The central agency responsible for promoting good recordkeeping in government is the Government Records Office. In partnership with Manitoba government departments and agencies, the Courts and the Legislature, GRO aims to ensure that full and reliable records are created and managed:
