Public Body Roles and Responsibilities

A comprehensive resource manual is available for all public bodies under FIPPA. This manual provides detailed information on responsibilities and roles under the Act and provides guidance, procedures and templates for use by public bodies.

Public bodies must identify the positions or offices with specific responsibilities under the Act.  Information and documents regarding designation, delegation and appointments are available below:
