Paul Hiebert House
Designation Date: November 22, 1991
Designation Authority: The Town of Carman
Present Owner: privately owned

Canadian writer Paul Hiebert (1892–1987) is best known as the author of the book Sarah Binks (1947), and its sequel Willows Revisited (1967). These and other poetry collections are regarded as classics of tongue-in-cheek humour that satirized prairie life and social pretentions. The town of Carman was for many years the home of Paul Hiebert and several of his works were penned in the rustic cottage which he constructed during the 1930s on the banks of the Boyne River. This unpretentious building and its peaceful wooded surroundings convey the impression of a remote lakeside cottage.

This building has been demolished.
