BIG WHITESHELL LAKE BEACH (SOUTH SHORE) POSTING LIFTED

The beach posting, issued by the regional medical officer of health on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at Big Whiteshell Lake (South Shore) has been lifted.

Latest test results of E. coli levels fall well within recreational water guidelines.

A swimming or water contact advisory at the lake was posted yesterday due to an accidental release of sewage from the main lift station.
