Getting There: The Whitefish Lake
subdivision is located in the western portion of Manitoba on the
east shore of Whitefish Lake in the Porcupine Provincial Forest
approximately 522km northwest of Winnipeg. The subdivision is
accessed via PTH 10 north of Swan River to PR 279 west, then north
on PR 279 to Whitefish Lake Provincial Park at junction PR 588.
Location & Description of Subdivision: The
subdivision is located along the east shore of Whitefish Lake
oriented in a north-south alignment along the shoreline. The
average lot size is 35m x 60m but may vary due to topography or
other requirements. The subdivision design has provided a natural
buffer space between the front lot lines and the river. The nearest
public beach and boat launch are located approximately 2km away at
Whitefish Lake Provincial Wayside Campground.
Services: The subdivision lots are
accessed from a public road (gravel) off PR 279. Local limited
services are offered in the community of Bowsman about 20 minutes
(36km) southeast. Full services, including hospital, RCMP, and
airport can be located in Swan River approximately 30 minutes
south. There will not be Hydro or MTS at this subdivision.
