CANADIAN WATERSLIDES LTD. – FUN MOUNTAIN WATERSLIDE PARK WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON - R.M. OF SPRINGFIELD (CLIENT FILE: 4619.00)
A proposal has been filed by Dillon Consulting Ltd., on behalf of Canadian Waterslides Ltd. to operate an existing wastewater treatment lagoon located to the east of the Fun Mountain Waterslide Park on part of the southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 10, Range 4 EPM in the Rural Municipality of Springfield. The lagoon receives wastewater generated by the Fun Mountain Waterslide Park which receives an average of 600 visitors per day plus 35 staff members per day from June to September each year. The lagoon has been designed to discharge treated effluent to a ditch which initially runs along the west side of the Waterslide Park facility and subsequently along Murdock Road into the Navin Road drain along P.T.H. No.1. The lagoon will not be discharged between the first day of November of any year and the fifteenth day of June of the following year.
