
Hazardous Waste Registration Form
Generators of hazardous waste must register with Manitoba Conservation and report the types and quantities of hazardous wastes generated at each site. The Hazardous Waste Registration Form is used for the initial registration, to update the registration and/or provide a supplementary report (for example, to report additional wastes).
Application for a Licence to Transport Hazardous Waste
Carriers of hazardous waste must possess a carrier licence issued by Manitoba Conservation. This licence is issued to the company that is the transporter of the waste (each driver must have training in accordance with the federal Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations).
Application for a Licence to Receive Hazardous Waste
A facility that receives hazardous waste from offsite must be approved by Manitoba Conservation in accordance with The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act. To apply for a licence for the construction and operation of a hazardous waste management facility (a collection facility for purposes of transfer, storage, treatment or disposal of hazardous waste), a Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application Form must be completed. The completed application form and supporting information should be sent together with a covering letter to:

A cheque for the application fee of $250 (payable to the Minister of Finance) must accompany the application.
Application for a Licence to Operate a Used Oil Space Heater
Waste crankcase oil is classified as a hazardous waste and space heating used oil burners fall within the scope of The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act.
The completed application form and supporting information should be sent together with a covering letter (and a cheque payable to the Minister of Finance in the amount of $250) to:

PCB Storage Site Registration
The PCB Storage Site Registration Form [en français] must be completed and submitted to Manitoba Conservation in order to register a PCB Storage Site in accordance with M.R. 474/88.
Application for Approval to Dispose of PCB Waste ([en français) Section 14 of M.R. 474/88 states that no person shall dispose of PCB waste with out a prior written authorization from the director. Prior to shipping out PCB waste for disposal, the generator should submit the completed application to:
