Manitoba entered into Forest Management Licence No. 1 with Abitibi-Price Inc. in 1979. The olive-green zone in the map above, depicts the location of Forest Management Licence Area 1, and Integrated Wood Supply Areas 1 & 2 (see detailed map), located in Manitoba's Eastern Forest Region.

Now managed by Tembec Inc., FML No. 1 supplies timber to the newsprint paper mill in Pine Falls.
