Manitoba entered into Forest Management Licence No. 2 with Repap Manitoba Inc. in 1989. The dark-green zone in the map (above), depicts the location of Forest Management Licence Area 2, located in Manitoba's Northern Forest Region.

FMLA 2 is now managed by Tolko Industries Ltd. Timber from this region supplies the kraft paper mill and sawmill in The Pas.
