Manitoba Forestry Related Links

The Manitoba Model Forest, part of the Forest Communities Program, is situated about 150 miles northeast of Winnipeg near Pine Falls. It was created to educate people about the boreal forest and provide opportunities for developing new and better ways to utilize the forest resource, through sustainable development.

There are 11 Forest Communities Program sites across Canada, representing all of Canada's major forest regions.

Manitoba Forestry Association and Woodlot Program - As Manitoba’s oldest conservation education organization, the Manitoba Forestry Association (MFA) is a leader in the field of forest education.
