Scheduled tours, amphitheatre presentations, campfire talks, outdoor exhibits and publications are available. This facility provides a logical starting point for your exploration of the park.
The Park Centre’s Exhibit Building contains attractive displays introducing the area's significant natural and cultural resources. Starting with development of the landscape as a delta in glacial Lake Agassiz, panels portray the arrival of First Nations, fur traders, settlers, and highlight where visitors can explore its natural communities. Spirit Sands, ox-bow lakes, mixed-grass prairie and special landscape features, are all easily accessible from here.
Continue your family discovery at the Park Centre into the newly upgraded Interpretive Workshop and chat with a Park Interpreter. He or she can provide you with more information on the park features and provide hand-on activities that encourage discovery and learning. See live specimens of the endangered western hog nose snake and northern prairie skink, fish species and amphibians found in the park.
Located in the Kiche Manitou Day-use Area. Admission is always free!
