Phase 2 — Business Process
Analysis and Modeling

The business process analysis and modeling in Phase 2 of the project are now being finalized.

This phase of the project involves the development of a new and improved business model for the Property Service Fees (PSF) system and the associated policies, practices and business processes integral to the operation of that new or revised model.

Integral to the development of a new or revised business model for the PSF system are the:

  • findings resulting from the analysis of the large volumes of information gathered during Phase 1;
  • thoughts, perceptions, opinions and information acquired through consultation activities with both internal and external stakeholders in Phase 1;
  • understanding acquired through discussions with both internal and external stakeholders during the formal consultation process.

Business process analysis and modeling activities are ongoing as the large volume of information and stakeholder input is reviewed and considered in development of a PSF system which meets the overall goals and objectives established for the project.

Additional Consultation – Phase 2

Additional consultation with internal and external stakeholder groups was added to the project to keep all stakeholders updated and informed. The consultation activities throughout Phase 1 attracted strong participation and generated a large volume of input regarding the PSF system.

In January 2008, Manitoba Conservation invited staff, cottage and business associations to additional meetings to view the preliminary model. The thoughts, perceptions and opinions from all users were important considerations in designing the new system. We thank all participants for their participation and interest in this project.
