Spruce Woods Provincial Park

Attractive displays introduce the area's significant natural and cultural resources. Starting with development of the landscape as a delta in glacial Lake Agassiz, panels portray the arrival of First Nations, fur traders, settlers, and highlight where visitors can explore its natural communities. Spirit Sands, ox-bow lakes, mixed-grass prairie and special landscape features, are all easily accessible from here. Scheduled tours, amphitheatres, campfire programs, outdoor exhibits and publications are available. This facility provides a logical starting point for your exploration of the park.

Located in the day-use area's Park Centre. Admission: free.

Open daily, spring to fall.
