Join the interpreters for an introduction to that Canadian creaturethe Canada Goose. After discovering this bird’s avian adaptations, you will create your own goose magnet to take home.

Canada Day at Alfred Hole
In this afternoon of Canada Day antics get your face painted, pick up a flag, take the Canadian Creatures Scavenger Hunt, try a taste of maple syrup lemonade and make your own Canadian Critter track.

Prepared For the Woods
 Do you know what you should bring for an excursion in the woods? Avoid taking the kitchen sink as the interpreters show you some nifty tricks and simple items to bring when hiking, camping and canoeing. Please remember a mug for hot chocolate.

Greatest Canadian Mammal
Of all the mammals in the boreal forest, there are many that are great Canadian symbols.  Who is the greatest?  At the amphitheatre, see if your vote has won the title and participate in the final debate.  After all the votes are in, enjoy our movie: Tale of the Beaver.

Hey Kids – Ask the interpreters how you can become a Park Pal, Junior Naturalist or Black Bear. Aware and earn pins, certificates and prizes.
