School Programs in Manitoba's Provincial Parks

Birds Hill Provincial Park

Birds Hill Provincial Park offers year-round interpretive school programming to suit a wide variety of curriculum needs. Located just 20 minutes north of Winnipeg along PTH 59, this is an excellent place to give students an opportunity to learn about nature in their own backyard. The park features a number of different school programs, pristine walking trails of various lengths, specialized group use areas to accommodate large groups.  The interpretive workshop, located at the end of Nimowin Road, is available for teacher and interpreter-led school programs as well as small teacher in-services and non-profit groups.
