Grand Beach Provincial Park

Grand Beach Provincial Park provides a beautiful setting for students to learn in. Curriculum-based interpretive programs as well as other exciting activities such as marsh walks and glaciation tours are offered from May to June. Grand Beach is also a haven for one of Manitoba's most charming bird species, the piping plover. This endangered shorebird can be spotted regularly, nesting on the shores of Grand Beach providing interpreters and teachers with a unique opportunity to inform students about the challenges relating to conservation and preservation of endangered species. Spectacular forest trails and a rich cultural history are two other elements that make Grand Beach Provincial Park a wonderful place to take a school group for the day.
