Management planning for Duck Mountain Provincial
Park began several years ago with a series of public meetings and
drop ins. The first Report on Public Comments was released
in 2002. A draft Management Plan for the park was completed
in 2003 and additional public meetings were held. A summary
of these meetings was presented in the 2004 Report on Public
Comments. Additional meetings with individuals, groups and
organizations were held in order to complete the plan. The
Management Plan Update newsletter of January 2007 provides
highlights of the final plan, while the full plan can be downloaded
from the file below.
