"Did you see that bird?" The lagoon wetland supports an abundance of plant and animal life, but wetlands around the world, are disappearing at an alarming rate. The trail has 13 on-site interpretive signs that provide insight into the special adaptations of the various species of birds that you may encounter. The marsh, also known as a lagoon, winds through cattails, willows and deciduous trees to four viewing platforms. During spring migration don't be surprised if you can identify up to 50 different bird species. Return distance 1 km. Allow 1 h.
