What to see and do
Whitefish Lake Provincial Park
Fireweed
Nestled in Porcupine Mountain's boreal forest, this park is for those who enjoy their camping experience beyond the reaches of electrical transmission lines but with some basic facilities. The "mountain" is the northern most segment of the Manitoba Escarpment in our province.

Whitefish Lake yields northern pike, perch and walleye. Cross Lake, which is on the Whitefish Lake road typically produces northern pike and walleye.

Thirty unserviced campsites are available.

North of Swan River, head west from PTH 10 on PR 279.
