Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development Scholarship

The Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development has established annual scholarships to assist post-secondary students in Manitoba who pursue studies and undertake research that embraces the spirit and principles of sustainable development.

Sustainable development involves changing the way we do business, how we live, what we teach our children and how government operates.  Sustainable development requires that we all work together toward economic and social development in harmony with our environment.

The scholarship is open to students in any field of study offered at an approved Manitoba post-secondary institution.  These scholarships are not available to employees of the Province of Manitoba or their spouses, common law partners or dependants. 

The Awards

Two single non-renewable awards are offered:

• $1,000 college and university undergraduate scholarship
• $1,000 college and university undergraduate scholarship

The awards are to cover the cost of tuition, books, fees and other education expenses.
