New Deer Hunting Opportunity in Killarney
Manitoba Conservation has implemented a new deer management hunting opportunity in the Killarney area to reduce the local deer population. This management initiative is in co-operation with the RM of Killarney-Turtle Mountain.
The objective of this management opportunity is to utilize hunters to harvest deer in a localized area around the town of Killarney in a safe and ethical manner.
This management season will be reviewed after the season to gauge the success of the initiative and determine future management actions.
