Option 2 - Separate Bag Limits

If the youth wishes their own bag limit, they must purchase the regular licence for that species being hunted. If they wish to hunt waterfowl, they must also purchase the Canada Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp.

To hunt without an adult supervisor, a youth must comply with the Canadian Firearms Act and regulations. This legislation controls the carrying and use of firearms by youth 12 to 17 years of age. For details, please contact (link opens in new browser window) the Canadian Firearms Centre at 1-800-731-4000.
