Licences and Licensing Information

Resident Youth Hunting Opportunities

Youth of any age may accompany parents or other mentors who wish to introduce them to hunting. However, no one under the age of 12 may hunt game birds or big game animals. Youth hunters 12 to 17 years of age, who have successfully completed the (link opens in new browser window) Manitoba Hunter Education course or a similar course from another province or state (Note: the Canadian Firearms Safety Course does not qualify), are eligible to participate in any of the following options:
