Trapping and Firearms

The discharge of a firearm is prohibited from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise.

Trappers should contact municipal officials about by-laws that may affect the discharge of firearms, including on Sundays.

Several municipalities have such by-laws in place, which override provincial legislation.
