Overview of the Workshop: Most of us already know the importance of active living. Physical activity increases energy, reduces stress, strengthens the heart and lungs and helps us reach and maintain a healthy body weight. The result is better quality of life for people of all ages. Yet many Manitobans don’t get enough physical activity to gain those health benefits. This half-day workshop will take you through the Workplaces in motion resource materials, guiding you in developing plans and activities that are appropriate for your workplace. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm and share ideas, and connect with others who are also interested in strengthening the culture of their workplaces. Learning Objectives:
