Guide to Winnipeg for Aboriginal Manitobans

The Partners for Careers' Guide to Winnipeg for Aboriginal Manitobans is supplied free of charge to Aboriginal client-serving agencies. As Aboriginal people move to Winnipeg, whether for a short or a long time, we have created this guide to assist them in getting connected to the larger community. Information is included on housing, transportation, shopping, cultural organizations and much more. To order free copies for your own use or several copies for your organization, please e-mail mb4youth@gov.mb.ca.

Aboriginal Youth Mean Business!

Partners for Careers hosts and sponsors a website, www.aymb.ca that showcases services that support Aboriginal entrepreneurship and connects those organizations with the youth who are exploring business ownership as a way to serve their communities and their peers. Youth who are at all stages of starting or operating a business can connect to the many services that exist in Manitoba to help them start or grow their business. All business support services along with a database of existing Aboriginal businesses are available on our new web site: www.aymb.ca or call 204-945-4284 for more information.
