There are many avenues for funding for recreation in your community. Funding is available for a wide range of activities from providing qualified recreation leadership, building or improving facilities to putting plans in place for community projects and programs. The Recreation and Regional Service Branch Consultants can provide assistance in filling out applications or answer questions.

Encourages schools and local governments to enter into or strengthen joint use agreements for the purpose of increasing opportunities for community recreation at schools and support school- based costs in the provision of community recreation programs.
