How do I Register?

All students/youth must complete a Student/Youth Employment Registration Form to be considered for referral to jobs through STEP Services.

  • Student Employment Centres on your university and college campus

  • Service Canada Centres for Youth – Employment Centres throughout Manitoba

  • Canadian National Institute for the Blind – Employment Career Counsellors

  • Manitoba Youth Job Centres throughout Manitoba (summer months only)

You must complete a new registration form each year to be eligible for employment through STEP Services.

The form you filled out last year qualifies you for referrals to the part-time jobs that begin in September 2007. However, you must complete a new 2007-08 form if you want to be referred to summer jobs in 2008. New forms are available in mid-November of each year.

Note: Referrals for summer jobs can start as early as January, so register early!
