This fall, October 1, 2000, the Residential Tenancies Branch (RTB) introduced a new process for determining a property's rent history. A new streamlined application form will make it easier for you to provide the information needed to process your request. The 14 standard response letters will be condensed into one Rent Status Report form. Services fees, structured similar to that of the City of Winnipeg's charges for file status reports, are $150.00 for residential complexes with four or fewer rental units and $300.00 for residential complexes with five or more rental units.
If you have made a request from the RTB in the last two years, watch for an information package in the mail. If you are not on our mailing list and would like more information, please call 945-1001.
