The training sessions on “The Agency Guide to The Vulnerable Persons Living with a Mental Disability Act (VPA)” are designed specifically for agency staff.
The VPA is the foundation for how services are provided for vulnerable persons. Based on the workbook, “The Agency Guide to the Vulnerable Persons Act”, these sessions encourage staff to challenge themselves on how to most effectively implement the principles of the Act in their day-to-day job duties.

Agencies funded by the Community Living disABILITY Services Program are notified of training availability and the registration process by letter or email from Family Services and Labour.
