

Beginning December 1, 2010, the Manitoba government is providing funding for registered pension plans and retirement supports to child care workers. This initiative is part of the Workforce Stability Strategy under Family Choices, Manitoba’s Five-Year Agenda for Early Learning and Child Care.
In consultation with members of the child care sector, Manitoba identified three new ways to help workers plan for their retirement:
In addition, starting October 1, 2011, Manitoba is offering a two-year pension contribution reimbursement for child care employees.

These application forms are in a PDF format that is fillable. This means that you can type your information into the form on your computer, print it, sign it and then mail it in. You can also save your work on your computer if you want to go back and finish it later. Remember, you must sign the form by hand before you send it in.
