Changes in Circumstances

If you are applying to or are already receiving Employment and Income Assistance (EIA), tell your worker right away about any changes in circumstances. A change in circumstance is anything in your situation that has changed that could affect how much assistance you may receive from EIA.

Changes in circumstances include:

  • a change of address;
  • a change in housing costs;
  • a change in marital status;
  • a change in family size;
  • when you find a new job or are recalled to your old job;
  • when you receive money from any source;
  • change in your assets (such as an inheritance).

If you have any questions or concerns about changes in your circumstances, please contact your worker for more information.
