These programs support the operation of non-profit co-operatives that were developed to provide housing for members, who are typically low to moderate income households. |

| Individual Operating Agreements between Manitoba Housing and the Housing Co-operatives provide limited subsidy that may be available to low income members. | |

Persons wishing to become members in an existing co-op may be required to purchase a share in the co-op. Restrictions regarding member eligibility, rent levels and available subsidies differ depending on the programs and Operating agreement with Manitoba Housing. |
