Welcome to the Vocational Rehabilitation Program Operating Manual.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Program of Manitoba Family Services and Housing offers a wide range of employment focused services to assist adults with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining and maintaining employment.

This manual provides guidance to staff of the Department and designated agencies in how to administer the program to support individuals applying for assistance or services from the Vocational Rehabilitation Services System.

Please note:

  • This manual covers vocational rehabilitation programs and services related to funding provided through Manitoba Family Services and Housing.
  • Mental Health and the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba programs have their own basic eligibility criteria.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Program is cost shared by the Government of Canada under the Labour Market Agreement for Persons with Disabilities (LMAPD). Find out more about the agreement on our LMAPD Annual Reports page.
