Appendix XVII - Self-Directed marketAbilities Program Handbook and Application
The Self-Directed marketAbilities Program Handbook for Applicants is intended to provide individuals with information on the Self-Directed marketAbilities Program Option – an option designed for eligible individuals who require minimal or no support to prepare a vocational plan.
Most individuals with a disability use the services of a Vocational Counsellor to assist them in developing a vocational plan. The Self-Directed option provides individuals with the opportunity to develop a vocational plan on their own, with assistance and support, as required.
