Know Your Rights

Every worker in Manitoba has basic rights related to workplace safety and health. These rights are protected by law.

Shared Responsibilities

Everyone is the workplace shares the responsibility for safety and health.  This includes workers, supervisors, employers and contracted or self-employed persons.

Workplace Safety and Health Committees

Workplace safety and health committees are the primary mechanism for employers and workers to work together to identify and resolve safety and health concerns. Every workplace with more than 20 employees must have a committee of managers and staff.
