Working for the Manitoba Government

Employee networks

The Manitoba government recognizes that peer support and networking are an important component of an employee’s success.  Two networks currently exist.  We encourage all new and existing employees to consider joining.

New Professionals Network
Touchstone

New Professionals Network (NPN)New Professionals Network

The NPN is a group of employees new to the Manitoba civil service, or beginning a new career path in the civil service, with an interest in being leaders and positively influencing the course of government.  New professionals come together to connect, learn and grow as they progress in their professional and personal development.

Managed by a group of volunteers, the NPN hosts a number of formal and informal events and activities, including:  conferences, workshops, information session, networking events and regular communication through newsletter, website and publications.
